A happy endingThe owners of the villa, as well as the whole Adam Stadnicki family, belonged to the Home Army. In the boarding house there operated an underground contact and transfer point for Home Army soldiers. When the war ended, the building shared the fate of the entire estate of Adam Stadnicki's family; it was confiscated and nationalized. For some time it functioned under the administration of the Polish Red Cross, and then as a spa hospital. In 1998 it returned to its rightful owners.
